Thanks to its multi-layer foam insulation, the Garda retains heat up to 3x longer and reaches target temperatures 40% faster. It also performs better in winter, maintains temperature with minimal standby energy loss, and features smart controls to optimize energy use, making it a cost-effective, eco-friendly investment in the long run.

We have designed the Garda with a user friendly tool free set up. Start with a level, sturdy base like a concrete pad or reinforced decking, then begin filling the Garda using a standard garden hose, followed by balancing water chemistry with the included starter guide.

The first heat cycle can take 12–18 hours depending on ambient temperature. Safety checks such as RCD testing and secure grounding are essential. Wave offers support during installation to help troubleshoot common issues like site prep, electrical setup, and chemical balancing.

For a Garda spa, the absolute minimum space required is 260cm x 260cm for the 4-person model and 280cm x 280cm for the 6-person. However, for comfortable access and maintenance, we recommend at least 360cm x 360cm for the 4-person and 380cm x 380cm for the 6-person.

You’ll need about 100cm clearance on all sides for maintenance, cover removal, and safety. Also consider height clearance for overhead obstacles and plan for privacy and future accessories.

The Garda comes with a comprehensive warranty: 12 months for the liner and 24 months for the heater, covering manufacturing defects and component failures. It does not cover user damage, normal wear, chemical damage, or installation errors.

All our foam models share the same superior insulation, integrated heaters, and filtration systems, but Garda typically offers the best value as the most affordable option.
